Come and celebrate some of the incredible business women and community leaders in Bedford with a breakfast and networking event at Foundry, Bedford's coolest co-working space (www.foundrycoworking.co.uk).
Our ethos is all about building community and establishing true networks of support - what better day to do this than IWD; a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
We'd love you to join us from 7.30am on Monday, 9th March for a free breakfast and the chance to hear from some exciting local speakers:
- Erica Roffe is the managing editor of the Bedford Independent and the Bedford Clanger and creative director of Explore Bedford amongst other endeavours.
- Nansi Rose is a Chartered Surveyor and the owner of Roosters Sandwich Bar on St Cuthbert's Street.
- Jade Hibbert is a Goldsmith and the founder of new jewellery brand, Jwllry by Jade Ltd.
- Rosanna Heasman is the brains behind The Store, Bedford's first refill shop.
- Nadia Luongo has just opened Bedford's newest plant based cafe, The Vardo.
- Emma Garrett is the purveyor of social media service provider, We Are Sociable, Director of Kiosk at the park and Bedford Pavilion and Founder of Soupfest Bedford.
We'll be running this as an informal, drop-in event to accommodate school runs and getting to work. Please feel free to join us when you can - attendance at the whole session is not compulsory... we'll keep the coffee on and the chat flowing until at least 10am.
