This summer holiday session is at Herrings Green Farm, open to children with SEND aged up to 25 who live in Bedford Borough and their immediate family.
This session is being partly subsidised by funding from Bedford Borough Council to arrange Family Participation activities that children with SEND and their families can enjoy together.
The format of the day will be:
10.00 - Arrive at the farm and met by the falconers, guests will have the opportunity to meet and handle some of the owls.
10.45 - Have a go at flying an owl
11.30 - Flying display
12.00 - Lunch
12.45 - Meet and feed some of the farm animals.
You can either bring a picnic for your lunch or there is an onsite cafe available to buy refreshments. For more information about Herrings Green Farm please take a look at their website https://birdsofpreycentre.co.uk/
You can book one free adult space per family as a carer, children (aged 2-15) are £3 and additional adults are £5 (please only book one free carer space per booking). Under 2's are free and you do not need to book a space for them, they can just join you on the day.
