Following on from our Seen and Heard report, where people told us that they were not being communicated with in accordance with their rights under the NHS Accessible Information Standard (AIS), HBB have produced the following report.
AIS Report
Following on from our Seen and Heard report, where people told us that they were not being communicated with in accordance with their rights under the NHS Accessible Information Standard (AIS), we took advantage of the Healthwatch England (HWE) Freedom Of Information request on this important subject and approached HWE for access to the responses they received from Trusts who provide services to Bedford Borough residents.
This has enabled us to present an accurate and evidence based report on how compliant these NHS Trusts are with the Standard and make recommendations based upon the findings in this report.
